I was pretty sure that LHD Aristos do not exist. But maybe some weird country did get these. There’s one in Finland and it was sold as a genuine LHD Aristo. But it’s possible that the importer has used our registration system to make it seems as a genuine Aristo even though it’s actually a Le xus. Our registration data doesn’t have a field for the brand. We just have fie lds for the manufacturer and the model.
One my friends imported an Audi RS2 years ago
. During the registration process h
e insisted that the manufacturer of the car
is Porsc
he instead of Audi. This is true as all
RS2s were assembled by Porsche. But usually the field is used for the brand so his car is likely the only Porsche RS2 in Fin
la
nd.

I like how I was determined to turn my debadged Lexus back into a Lexus, you are determin ed to turn your fully-badged Lexus into a Toyota.

All I need is the airbag cover and a new head unit and I’ll be done. . And, technically, glass. If I’d gotten a 98-00 the glass would have said Toyota instead of Lexus, but they also have more problems than the 01-05s so I didn’t think it was worth the trade off.

Yeah, actual 2nd gen Aristos aren’t legal over here yet, got a couple more years for that. Mine’s just a clone, but occasionally a real JDM one will make its way over into Florida via the Bahamas or somewhere nearby.
I’ve seen a handful of 1st gens though.
